Letter written to Ian MacKaye in 1985,
Discovered at Dischord in 2015
On July 11, 1985, Mark Robinson (from Unrest and Teen-Beat) wrote a letter to Ian MacKaye and in the letter asked him how one went about pressing a vinyl record.
Ian MacKaye and his Dischord saved thousands of pieces of mail over the years. In the 2010s, he began a Dischord archive documenting these letters. On August 23, 2015, Ian wrote to Mark and notified him of the discovery of Mark's letter from 30 years earlier.
