Reconceptualization and Simplification

A reconceptualization and simplification of the Teen-Beat logo. Re-drawn by Mark Robinson on October 13 - November 17, 2019 using Adobe Illustrator vector illustration software.

While preparing the design of a 1-inch enamel pin (Teen-Beat 538), a realization that the rough edges of the original two (original and reversed) logo variations that had been used since 1985 and 1986 had edges that were too rough for the tiny manufacture of the pin. The new versions have smooth edges.

This new Teen-Beat logo has been refined and changed since and is often different with each use. Teenbeats 1 through 7 all featured completely different Teen-Beat logos and future releases may also feature completely (or subtly) different logos.
