City Slicker

(A travel magazine)

A travel fanzine made by Mark Robinson that was never published. The idea was to provide an alternative to mainstream travel guides of the time by interviewing local luminaries who could give insight to travellers on where he best record stores, restaurants, et cetera were and why. Interviews for issue 310 (the first issue) were conducted.

Issues were to be titled after the telephone area code of the city being profiled in that issue. Interviews for the first issue were conducted, but the 'zine never saw the light of day.

PLANNED ISSUES:

Issue 310 LOS ANGELES
interviews with (??) of the band Slug,
and Scott Becker, founder/editor of Option magazine.

Issue 804 RICHMOND

Issue 212 NEW YORK

Issue 202 WASHINGTON, D.C.
