FIRST PERFORMED AS

"Evelyn & Ginger & Margaret"

DESCRIPTION

Evelyn put this band together after her previous band (Blast Off Country Style) broke-up. She learned to play the guitar and enlisted Margaret (Tuscadero) just as her band was calling it quits. Jazz trained drummer and co-worker, Ginger, was asked to play drums.

Hot Pursuit has played at weddings and once had a dangerous fascination with Tobin from True Love Always. "Tobin Gets a Bonus" from their The Thrill Department album is all about the man with the 'fro.

RÉSUMÉ

EDUCATION

TUSCADERO (1994-1999)

Hot Pursuit's own Margaret McCartney was a founding member of famed Washington DC indie-pop heroes Tuscadero, and penned their signature song, "Mount Pleasant." Margaret learned to play guitar with Jimmy Tickles.

BLAST OFF COUNTRY STYLE (1992-1996)

Guitar player and lead vocalist, Evelyn Hurley, fronted this bubble-gum pop garage rock band in the nineties. As an experienced seamstress, Evelyn brings conviction and experience to the Ladies of Hot Pursuit.

WALNUT CREEK HIGH SCHOOl JAZZ BAND (1984-1988)

Drummer Ginger Crockett honed her chops in this illustrious band, and nearly single handedly won the Monterey Jazz Festival two years in a row!

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

WEDDINGS (1999-present)

Hot Pursuit's favorite type of show to play. After a successful wedding in Virginia Beach last year they have been contacted to play several other weddings in the upcoming year. Margaret, Evelyn & Ginger also have some experience being bridesmaids.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (1971-present)

Both Margaret and Evelyn were born, raised and educated in our nation's capital. Ginger hails from the Northern California, near San Francisco, which explains Hot Pursuit's large fan base on the West Coast.

LOLLAPALOOZA (1994-1995)

This crazy '90's rock festival where Evelyn performed in the summer of 1994 with Blast Off Country Style. Margaret played to the girls and boys with Tuscadero in the summer of 1995.
